Malcolm Shabazz, the grandson of slain civil rights activist Malcolm X, has been buried at a cemetery in suburban New York.

A spokeswoman for the family said Shabazz was laid to rest near his grandparents at the Ferncliff Cemetery in Hartsdale on Tuesday.

Authorities say Shabazz was beaten to death earlier this month in a dispute over a $ 1,200 bar bill in Mexico City. Two waiters have been arrested in the case.

The highly publicized feud between LeAnn Rimes and Brandi Glanville has picked up some steam over the last few days.

On Monday, the “Real Housewives” star apparently had trouble reaching Rimes, her ex-husband Eddie Cibrian and her two sons, who were all spending time together. So she did what any concerned parent would do, she posted a public tweet about the situation for all to see.

“Ive been trying to get a hold of my kids 4 over an hour no response to my calls, emails or messages. Maybe twitter will work,” Glanville tweeted.

Oddly enough, she forgot to use the hashtag #stoopinglow.

As expected, the frantic post prompted the singer to respond with her own tweet: “Funny, she just got off the phone w/ them. Sorry, we were doing baths, homework & dinner. All good!”

Moments later, Rimes tweeted, “the phone rang, I picked it up. Never saw this til after. All you gotta do is call.”

But she wasn’t done!

She also added, “no drama when the truth is told. Cool! Done! Nothing to it!”

This is just one of many feuds that the two have engaged in via social media. Just this past Sunday, it was reported that Rimes had flowers sent to Glanville in honor of Mother’s Day. The reality star took to Twitter to let the world know that she thanked Rimes for them.

“I thanked @leannrimes on twitter4 my flowers.Our relationship is that we still dont even say hi at baseball.I dont have her number-thats it.”

This was allegedly news to Rimes, who responded by tweeting, “[T]his was actually the first acknowledgement of my gesture I was made aware of. I didn’t see anything else sent to me. It wasn’t for the ‘thank you.’ It was to just simply say Happy Mother’s Day.”

She also retweeted a message that was probably meant to be a dig at Glanville:

“Stop giving the people who have nothing positive to say about you an ear. Ignore them and keep doing your thing.”

It’s a shame that these two feel the need to rip each other apart publicly. Not only does it reenforce the idea that women are catty and competitive but Eddie Cibrian, the man at the center of it all, has been seemingly absent from their feud.

Shouldn’t he have to face some of the hostility and anger that these women harbor towards one another?

According to court officials, Scrappy tried to turn in a urine sample that was cold to the touch and may have been tampered with, and when asked to submit another cup, he refused.

Lil Scrappy is addicted to weed. At least, that’s what the rapper claimed in court today. According to a report by TMZ, the rapper officially failed a court-ordered urine test. He’s now going to be entering rehab to help him get over his addiction. TMZ spoke to Scrappy’s lawyer and he said that Scrappy will be in rehab as of June 16. The rapper didn’t contest the order. Scrappy was temporarily jailed for violating his probation.

A man was attacked and killed with a machete, for apparently wearing a Help for Heroes military charity t-shirt. One of the assailants was yelling out government dislikes stating, “I apologize that women have had to witness this today, but in our land our women have to see the same. You people will never be safe. Remove your government, they don’t care about you.” The two men who drug a lifeless body into the street were shot by Great Britain police in Woolwich, London, and are now being treated for their wounds. Prime Minister David Cameron said there were “strong indications that this is a terrorist incident”. I bet it was, just off of his outburst! SAD! Drop down bottom to get a look at the scene.

With the recent news that Angelina Jolie had opted for a double mastectomy to reduce her risk of contracting breast cancer, there’s been a lot of attention focused on the breast cancer susceptibility gene (BRCA) that caused Jolie to take such a drastic action.

This gene is responsible for approximately 5 percent of breast cancer cases in America. Though the overwhelming majority of cases diagnosed are not associated with BRCA1 or BRCA2, the risk is still present. Before you go to your doctor to request a BRCA genetic test, here a few things to know:

Cancer is disease resulting from a gene that has gotten out of control. Genes tell the cells what to do, specifically what type of protein to create. The breast cancer susceptibility genes (BRCA1 & BRCA2) are codes for proteins that help to maintain the stability of DNA (deoxyribonucleic acid).

BRCA1 is associated with increased risk of breast, cervical, uterine, colon, and pancreatic cancers. BRCA2 is associated with increased risk of ovarian, pancreatic, bile duct, gallbladder, and stomach cancers.

Men can also be affected with male breast cancer from these genes. Additionally, BRCA1 in men is associated with increased risk of testicular cancer, and BRCA2 is associated with increased risk of prostate cancer.

Not everyone needs BRCA genetic testing. Only people who have a strong family history for breast and ovarian cancer should be tested for BRCA. If you have a sister, mother, or aunt who was diagnosed with breast or ovarian cancer before menopause or a brother, father or uncle who was diagnosed with breast cancer, then discuss this with your physician. Remember, an association is not a definite diagnosis, so speak with your doctor to determine risk factors prior to genetic testing. If you do not know your family history, then it may be reasonable to have the BRCA test.

Routine breast self-exam and mammography remain the best ways to screen for breast cancer. Make it your mission to regularly schedule your annual mammogram starting at age 40, or earlier if you have a family history; remind your sisters, friends, and family to do the same. Though Breast Cancer Awareness Month isn’t until October, health awareness is necessary year round and can be the difference between life and death.

So that fear is understandable.  It’s difficult for women to sexually express themselves with men without a negative connotation. 

Can you have a healthy relationship without sex? 

Unless you are both virgins, its VERY unlikely your relationship will sustain without sex.  Its much needed intimacy, and if he’s already experienced the gushy stuff, you have to be bringing something out of this world to the table for him to stay faithful to you without it.

And, who wants to go through the trouble of dating a man for years, being engaged, get married, only to find out he has a deadly combination of erectile disfunction as well as small peen disorder? Not I.

We’ve got some bad news for anyone who’s been spending their days wondering when they’ll be granted a glimpse of Shia LaBeouf‘s penis again. The actor was rumored to have a nude scene in the forthcoming film “Nymphomaniac,” but now, that doesn’t seem to be the case.

Louise Vesth, the project’s producer, tells the Hollywood Reporter that body doubles were used for graphic sequences.

“We shot the actors pretending to have sex and then had the body doubles, who really did have sex, and in post we will digital-impose the two,” Vesth said. “So above the waist it will be the star and the below the waist it will be the doubles.”

So basically, you will see Shia LaBeouf’s upper body, but not his penis. Depending on how you look at it, that can either be a good thing, or a bad thing.

Directed by Lars von Trier, the art house indie follows a woman named Joe (played by Charlotte Gainsbourg) as she recalls the sexual encounters she’s had throughout her life. The film is set to be released in two parts. British actress Stacy Martin will portray Joe in flashback sequences.

“Nymphomaniac” also stars Stellan Skarsgard, Christian Slater, Jamie Bell, Connie Nelson and Uma Thurman.

Anyone who’s seen von Trier’s 2009 shocker “Antichrist” knows that minutes into the film, there’s a sex scene with full penetration, so “realistic” looking sex scenes are expected to be featured throughout his latest work. Oh yeah, and the title is “Nymphomaniac,” so it’s safe to say that the storyline will be very “adult.”

Last year, LaBeouf told MTV that he would comply with whatever the notoriously difficult Danish director asked of him for the film — even if that included real life, full penetration sex scenes.

“There’s a disclaimer at the top of the script that basically says we’re doing it for real,” LaBeouf said. “Everything that is illegal, we’ll shoot in blurred images. Other than that, everything is happening.”

Considering he has appeared in the buff previously, full frontal nudity didn’t seem to be out of the question for the actor. Last June, the “Lawless” star appeared fully nude in a music video for Icelandic post-rock group, Sigur Rós, for their song, “Fjögur Píanó.”

He later joked in an interview with Chelsea Handler that he scored a role in “Nymphomaniac” after he sent a sex tape to von Trier.

“I sent him videotapes of me and my girlfriend having sex, and that’s how I got the job,” he said.

He was obviously kidding … we think.

According to the state examiner, at least 24 people, including nine children, were killed in Monday’s tornado that ripped through Moore, Oklahoma. News of elementary school children trapped in rubble shocked the nation. Roughly 300 homes were reduced to mere debris and the world watched in shock. In an effort to do his part and give back, Oklahoma City Thunder’s Kevin Durant donated $ 1 million to the Red Cross tornado disaster relief. The NBA and the players’ union are also banding together to add another $ 1 million donation for relief efforts in the Oklahoma City area as well as the Thunder’s main sponsor, Chesapeake Energy who has pledged $ 1 million as well.

This is a very noble thing for Kevin Durant to do. If you’d like to make a $ 10 donation to the Red Cross to assist in disaster relief text REDCROSS to 90999.

For African-Americans, paying down debt is the top financial priority, according to the biennial survey of African-Americans commissioned by Prudential Financial.

The African-American Financial Experience survey, which was conducted by Gfk Public Affairs and Communications, also found that half of African-Americans say their financial situations have improved from a year ago, compared to 33 percent of the general population.

It is student loan debt that is of particular concern to African-Americans, particularly since college-educated African Americans are twice as likely to have student loan debt compared with all college-educated Americans, the survey found. This debt hampers the ability to invest or save for retirement.

African-Americans are significantly more likely to have some type of debt (94 percent) compared to the general population (82 percent) — credit card debt, student loan debt, and personal debt are all significantly higher in the African-American community, even for more affluent African-Americans, according to the survey.

Not including home mortgages, African-Americans have a median household debt of $ 18,000, which is about 50 percent higher than the household debt for the general population. In addition, one in four African-Americans has felt anxiety or depression as a result of debt.

Asked how they would use an extra 10 percent of income, almost half (48 percent) of African-Americans indicated their top priority would be paying down debt, which was a higher percentage than the general population.

For African-American households, the median household savings was only $ 40,000, compared to $ 97,000 nationally. Add a college education to the equation and household savings rises to $ 66,000 for African-American households—but jumps to $ 207,000 for the average American household.

African-American respondents were half as likely as the general population to have long-term investments like stocks, bonds and mutual funds. However, they were significantly more likely to be financially supporting someone who is unemployed, as well as grandparents, parents, children and grandchildren.

The survey was conducted March 7 to 19, using a probability-based Internet panel, polling 1,153 African-Americans 25 to 70 years old, with household income of at least $ 25,000, who have primary or shared responsibility for household financial decisions. The margin of sampling error for African-Americans was plus or minus 5 percent.

It seems like the self proclaimed King of the South has a bit of a marijuana problem. Just weeks after turning himself in for refusing to submit a urinalysis to his probation officer, the Love & Hip Hop Atlanta star has failed a court ordered drug test. Scrappy’s excuse? He says he’s addicted to that wiznyeeed. Now TMZ is reporting the rapper will enter a rehab facility.
